*CEU’s offered for Texas Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists (Texas CAEs)
Before the busy end of year holiday season begins, take the time to create an inner centered space that will help you enjoy these days.
Heart Mind as One is very effective at calming the disposition. A calm disposition is the essence of human health. A calm disposition is empty; it has no cares. Qi is in harmony and the body is in balance. This qigong is both moving and non-moving. The physical movements are for cultivating qi. The inner stillness is to bring you back to the heart. When the physical movements have ceased, your Heart experiences its original purity. It is then that you are released from your past confusions and difficulties.
In the practice of Heart Spirit as One, the practitioner is brought to the experience of receiving the Love from which the universe was created and the Love into which everything dissolves. Love is a powerful energy. This form will help one allow Love to enter the Heart. This sitting practice is both meditative and self-healing. One will gradually be able to hold the positions longer when one is dedicated to the regular practice of Heart Spirit as One. The form consists of three simple positions connected with graceful transitions that nurture and open the heart.
The morning session from 10-1 will cover Heart Mind as One. The afternoon session from 2-5 will have the participants learn Heart Spirit as One, continue Heart Mind as One in seven rounds, and finish the afternoon with a review of Heart Spirit as One.
Participants who have some experience with these forms may choose to do either the morning or afternoon session, or both sessions. Beginners who have time for a half day only should choose the morning session.
