Sheng Zhen Gong classes at Seton McCarthy Community Clinic

AOMA offers free Sheng Zhen Healing Gong classes to the patients of the Seton McCarthy Community Clinic in east Austin at 2nd and Pleasant Valley.

Free qigong classes every Friday morning, 9:00-10am.

Rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit with this graceful qigong. Qigong is the cultivation and exchange of Qi (vital energy) with the universe. Sheng Zhen is a style of qigong inspired by the great spiritual teachers of the world. The forms consist of elegant movements that aid in healing.

You may experience relaxation, calmer emotions and a deeper connection with nature and the universe. This form of qigong is performed seated in a chair, making it accessible for people of all abilities. It is fine for people with physical, psychological and emotional problems.

Taught by Amy Babb

Amy Babb is a student of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. At a young age Amy found a passion for both dance and healing which laid the foundation to easily experience appreciation for the moving meditation of qigong. She has been practicing with her teacher Master Li Junfeng in the Sheng Zhen Gong tradition since 2008. Amy believes that Sheng Zhen Gong is a great gift to the world and wishes to share it with as many people as possible. Through her work with Master Li and her dedication to this practice she is inspired to help people awaken within their bodies and guide them toward an experience of unconditional love. Amy invites you to join her in an adventure to a balanced mind, body, and spirit.
