Saturday: Return to Spring – Open to everyone
This qigong is inspired by the harmony found in nature. The same effortless balance found in the moon’s path around the earth can also be experienced within our own bodies’ movements. This experience is especially strong when we return to our natural state of being. This is a standing form.
Sunday: Strength in Balance: Qigong for the Liver – *Advanced practitioners only
Our liver allows our being to be in balance. It processes the physical toxins which we consume, and in Chinese medicine, it processes our negative emotions & memories. It provides an equilibrium which allows us to ride the ups and downs which come into our lives. An overtaxed liver can disrupt this, resulting in excessive anger. This form has movements practiced sitting in a chair & lying down on the floor.
Master Li Junfeng is the founder and principal teacher of Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong. Master Li is perhaps best known as having been the head coach of the world-renowned Beijing Wushu (Martial Arts) Team and National Wushu Team of the People’s Republic of China. Under his leadership, the Beijing Wushu Team consistently won first place in national and international competitions for over 12 years, elevating the standards of excellence and quality worldwide. After practicing and teaching wushu (martial arts) and training champions for many years, he gave up his prestigious career to devote his time to teaching Sheng Zhen Gong to the world.
Presently, Master Li tours the US, Canada, Asia, and Europe throughout the year. During these workshops and trainings he shares his wisdom, his understanding, his love – his entire being, so that others too may experience the joy and contentment that permeates his life.
