Sheng Zhen Gong
Sundays 6:15-7:45 pm

Sheng Zhen Gong is not only good for the physical body, but can also lead to the removal of negative feelings such as stress, worry, sadness, anger, nervousness, fear, and anxiety. With regular practice, you can develop better focus and concentration. Altogether, this slows the aging process. The underlying purpose of this practice is to experience the opening of the heart and the stillness of the mind. This is an ongoing class. One movement is taught per class and several are reviewed. The complete forms are done in the qigong state. Registration not required. Pay by donation.  The first hour is open to all levels; the last half hour is for those who have already learned the forms.

About the instructor:

Francie Shimaya has been studying Sheng Zhen Gong from Master Li Junfeng since 2003. The cultivation of a personal daily practice has been her main focus. In her classes Francie encourages and guides others to develop their daily practice. The Sheng Zhen flavors and philosophy constitute the basis of her teaching. She has been leading the Sheng Zhen Sunday meditation group at AOMA for the last eight years when Master Li is out of town. Also, she serves the Sheng Zhen community as the distributor of Sheng Zhen Products. Contact Francie at francieshimaya@yahoo.com.
